Conversation-Focused English for Grades 4–5

Level 1 — Beginner
What will we learn in this program?
Grades 4–5 · Level 1 — Beginner
12 weeks · 24 lessons · 40 minutes per lesson
For students who are new to English or have difficulty using the basic knowledge they learned at school in conversation. We support them in building their own sentences through age-appropriate games, short tasks, and daily life role-plays.
By the end of the program, we aim for our students to:
• Introduce themselves by stating their name, age, grade, and where they live; ask similar questions to others,
• Describe how they feel; ask for repetition or help when they do not understand,
• Introduce their family and close friends with short sentences,
• Ask and answer simple questions about school supplies and subjects,
• State the foods, games, and activities they like and dislike,
• Describe some actions they can and cannot do,
• Express a few activities they do frequently in their daily life with simple sentences,
• Participate in short dialogues and pair-speaking activities on familiar topics.
Students are supported with visuals, keywords, and example sentences. Our priority is not just for them to know the correct answer, but for them to ask questions, create their own answers, and participate in the conversation.

Course and Registration Information
Is this level suitable for my child?
Level 1 is for children in 4th–5th grade who are new to English or have difficulty using what they have learned at school in short conversations.
Even if your child recognizes words and can solve written questions, they can start at this level if they need support to introduce themselves, answer simple questions, and form their own sentences. No prior English knowledge is required.
Class environment
Classes are held live via Zoom in small groups of 6–8 students. Every child is given the opportunity to ask questions, answer, and form their own sentences. Children do not remain just listeners; they actively participate in games, role-plays, and interactive conversations.
As students begin to use the expressions they have learned, they move on to pair practice under teacher guidance. This allows them to engage in short dialogues with their friends, take turns speaking and listening, and use what they have learned in communication.
Continuing to learn outside of class
Our program is not limited to live classes. To ensure students use what they have learned throughout the week, short daily exercises, worksheets, and speaking practices are provided. Thus, English ceases to be a subject they only encounter during class hours and becomes a part of their daily lives.
All worksheets and digital materials we provide within the scope of the program are included in the program fee. The applications we recommend to support practice consist of free-to-use options; no additional application fees are required.
Calendar and fees
The start date, class days, class times in Turkey time, and fee information will be shared here once finalized.
