About DZ Online Academy
At DZ Online Academy, we care about English transforming into a communication skill that our students can use in their lives. We respect every student's starting point, needs, and learning pace.
Our teaching approach is THINK → BUILD → SPEAK → INTERACT. With this approach, we support our students in using what they have learned in daily life and make the language learning process interactive and enjoyable.
We value a safe learning environment where students can ask questions without fear of making mistakes, build their own sentences, and participate in conversation. With activities connected to daily life and Turkish support when needed, we help them use what they have learned and notice their progress.
Our common goal for children, teenagers, and adults is for them to be able to use English with their own voices at school, at work, and in daily life.
Our Learning Approach
Speaking English is like learning to swim.
Knowing swimming techniques is valuable. But to learn to swim, you have to get into the water and try what you have learned. In English, vocabulary and grammar form a foundation; speaking skill develops by using that language.
That is why we bring English into daily life. By asking questions, explaining our needs, and talking to each other, we turn what we have learned into communication.
Improving speaking skills is like working out at the gym.
Just as we don't get stronger with a single workout, we don't become fluent by speaking once. We need regular, step-by-step practice appropriate to our level. Each attempt at speaking makes the next one a little easier.
At DZ Online Academy, we care about offering our students both a safe learning environment where they can "get into the water" and a space where they can practice speaking regularly. Because our goal is for our students to know English and use it in their lives.
Meet Our Founder, Dilek

Dilek Zubari is the founder and teacher of DZ Online Academy. She combines over 20 years of teaching experience, 10 years of management in language schools, and more than five years of online education experience with an approach that supports students in using English in real life.
She completed her undergraduate degree in Science Education with a minor in Mathematics Education at Inonu University Faculty of Education. Subsequently, she completed her master's degree with a thesis in the Science Education Program at the same university's Department of Mathematics and Science Education.
In the early years of her career, in addition to teaching science, she also served as a paid English teacher in middle schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, thanks to the language certificates she held. Her interest in language led her to continue her studies in language education, and she later completed the Advanced TESOL diploma program at Global TESOL College.
Following her experience in teaching and management in Turkey, she founded her own foreign language course. During this process, in addition to teaching, she took on responsibilities such as curriculum preparation, parent communication, and institutional management.
She developed her online education efforts during the pandemic period, and after the February 2023 earthquakes, she moved her business entirely to online education. This transformation allowed her to work with students living in different cities and countries.
English has been a tool for Dilek to meet new people, understand different lives, and shape her future more freely. Today, she lives in Canada, actively uses English in her daily life, and brings this experience to her lessons.
Her life in Canada has allowed her to personally experience the difference between knowing English and being able to express oneself comfortably in daily life. This need is at the center of her teaching approach at DZ Online Academy: for students to transform the English they learn into speech and find their own voices.
For Dilek, progress means the student being able to ask questions, explain their needs, and participate in a conversation. She uses her teaching background and language learning experience to help her students acquire these skills.
